Rob Hickmore
Singing Teacher


Information: Rob Hickmore studied voice and performance at The Royal
Welsh College of Music and Drama. After graduating in
1998 he performed in Some Enchanted Evening on a
National Tour and at a variety of co-operate events.
He trained under Richard Alda who himself was a student
of E. Herbert-Caesari (mentor of Beniamino Gigli) who
was considered the master technician of Bel Canto. As well
as this very classical education Rob has studied the modern
and scientific Estill model that is used greatly in Musical
Theatre and Pop.
In 2000 Rob was asked to teach on the Musical Theatre
Degree course at Arts Educational School London. Since
then he has worked with many students that have gone on
to perform in the West End and on National and
International Tours.
Rob teaches at various colleges and has a large private
practice in Bath and London. He uses his comprehensive
knowledge of the voice to make lessons fun and full of the
tools needed to be successful in a highly competitive
industry.
